I was crying for the family of the died teen , beside my sadness I have several quistion that had to be answered :
The stabbing occurs not far from the school doors ,so where was the school staff ?
Why we just seen police officers only after the disasters occurs ? What is police role in the community ? Arresting and laying charges only ? How it could be leaving hundreds of teens in the street going home with out any security control and supervision ? Where are the crime stoppers ? What is the role of school boards? Is this going to happened againe ? What lessons we had learned from this ? How as a parent can I feel safe for my teen son walking to and from the school? All of these quistion I put in front of Oshawa police officers , Durham region school board and Oshawa MP . Some thing is going wrong and we had all to put hands to gother to figure it out . Such things should not be allowed to hsppiend againe. Prevention musirementd and security reviews had to be applied for the safety of our children .
