3 charged, 2 sought after marijuana dispensary raids

Three people are facing a slew of drug charges and two suspects are being sought after Toronto police raided a Kensington Market marijuana dispensary and a condo in Etobicoke on Wednesday.

In a release, police said they raided the Toronto Dispensary at 33 Kensington Ave. around 10 p.m.

They also executed a search warrant at a condo near the Gardiner Expressway and Park Lawn Road.

Police say they seized a combined total of 3,792 grams of marijuana, 1,363 grams of marijuana oil, nearly 300 grams of shatter as well as various quantities of hash and infused lotions. They also allegedly recovered around $120,000 in Canadian cash and $4,500 in U.S. currency.

Darryl Jackson, 39, Navjat Singh, 29, and Maryna Mushlovina, 34, all of Toronto, are facing numerous drug possession and trafficking charges.

Two suspects, Cesar Bonilla-Acevedo, 31, and Simon Lip, 37, both of Toronto, are still being sought in connection with the investigation.
