SIU investigating after woman dies from fall from building roof

The province’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating the death of a 28-year-old woman in Mississauga on Wednesday afternoon.
The SIU says Peel Region Police were called to a townhouse complex at about 4 p.m. in response to a “woman in distress.”
A short time later, says the SIU, the unidentified woman fell from the roof to the ground below and was pronounced dead in hospital.
Four investigators and three forensic investigators have been assigned to this case.
The SIU is urging anyone with information about this, or video evidence, to contact them.
The provincial agency investigates all reports involving police where there is death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault.
