Woman struck by vehicle in the Junction

A woman in her 60s is recovering in hospital after she was hit by a vehicle in the Junction.
It happened just before midnight at Bloor Street West and Sterling Road, just east of Dundas Street West.
Paramedics said the woman suffered serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
There has been no word on charges.
The area was closed off while police investigated but has since reopened.
