Peel police say three arrests have been made in the stabbing and robbery of a woman in Brampton back in April.

Investigators say a 56 year old woman was standing on her porch in the evening on April 29 when she was approached by man who demanded her property.

When she refused, he allegedly stabbed her multiple times. She was taken to hospital and is recovering from her injuries.

The man and two others left the scene in a vehicle. Investigators were also able to connect the incident to a similar one in Caledon.

Olorunyomi Ogunpolu, 21, of Brampton, Edgar Koroma, 19, of Bolton, and a 17 year-old from Brampton are facing charges of attempted murder and 5 counts of robbery

They have been held for a bail hearing.
