1 stabbed, another injured in fight near Ryerson University

Toronto police say two people were injured in a fight near Ryerson University.

Officers were called just before 10 p.m. to Yonge and Gerrard streets to a report of a fight between five to 10 people.

One person was stabbed and another had unknown injuries.

Paramedics say a male in his teens was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition. They did not specify whether he was the stabbing victim.

The suspect fled north on Yonge. He’s described as a black male wearing blue jeans, a navy blue golf shirt with horizontal stripes and a black windbreaker jacket with a hood.
