Man, woman sought in suspected pepper spray attack

Police are searching for two suspects after a number of people were pepper sprayed near a busy downtown intersection on Friday night.
Police were called to the concourse level of the Hudson’s Bay Centre at 2 Bloor Street East around 7:30 p.m. following reports of a random attack.
Toronto paramedics say four people were transported to hospital for treatment while others were treated on the scene and released.
The concourse was closed briefly following the attack as was the entrance to the Bloor subway station. Both have since reopened.
Police say a man and a woman were last seen running southbound from the scene.
The male suspect is described as white with dark hair, wearing a red baseball cap, a red tank top and carrying a black backpack.
The female suspect is described as having dark hair and wearing a tank top and white glasses.
