Man sought after 2 women report sex assaults on TTC subway

Toronto police have released security camera images of a man suspected of sexually assaulting two women on the subway.

A 23-year-old woman said she boarded a train at Kennedy Station around 5 p.m. on April 27 and noticed a man who had sexually assaulted her on the subway before, although she hadn’t reported it to police.

When she tried to get on another subway car, the man allegedly followed her. Concerned, she left the train and called police.

Another woman, who is 37, told police she boarded a train at Broadview Station around 9:30 a.m. on May 5 and a man sexually assaulted her.

She said when she got off the train at Warden Station and transferred to a bus to get away from the man, he followed her. At that point, she called police.

The man is Asian, five feet nine inches tall with a medium build, 30 to 35 years old, bald, clean-shaven, with brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
