Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sat down Monday night for a live interview with Maclean’s senior writer Paul Wells.
Members of Parliament returned to the Hill Monday following a summer break. During that break, Trudeau found himself defending his government’s handling of the troubled Trans Mountain pipeline, facing debate over asylum seekers and ongoing NAFTA negotiations.
The conversation began at 7:00 p.m. EST from Ottawa’s National Arts Centre.
