Officer Stabbed As Thrown Child Dies After Bizarre Incident In Windsor

It happened just after midnight when local cops received a call about a woman walking down the road carrying a youngster who appeared to be motionless.
When officers arrived to check it out, the woman startled them by flinging the boy violently to the ground then fleeing on foot. When cops caught up to her, she allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed one of them in the arm as they struggled to secure her.
The lawman was treated and released, but the three year-old wasn’t so lucky. The youngster was rushed to hospital but died two hours later.
An autopsy will be performed in London to determine what caused his death and what condition he was in before police showed up.
A 30-year-old woman remains in custody.
The motive for the strange incident still isn’t known.
