Two people were taken to hospital early Sunday after an accident on the northbound DVP.
Authorities believe a driver backing up on the exit-ramp at York Mills caused the collision.
Incredibly, only two people were injured in the chain-reaction crash that involved several cars. One person suffered minor facial injuries and the other was knocked unconscious.
So far no charges have been laid.
Steeles Crash
A child was hurt in a crash at Steeles and Beare Road in the northeast end of Scarborough.
A car and van collided around 3 pm Sunday afternoon.
Three other people were also hurt but none of the injuries are life threatening.
Barrie Fatal
A man died Sunday night after a horrific chain reaction mishap in Barrie.
The pedestrian was killed instantly when he was hit by a car in the southbound lanes of the 400 near Molson Park.
The car that hit him was rear-ended by another vehicle and two other cars collided when they slowed down to take a look.
Five people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Chalkfarm Shooting
Police searched for a gunman in the Jane and Wilson area Sunday night after a 21-year-old man suffered a hand wound from a shotgun blast.
They’re searching in and around a highrise at 170 Chalkfarm Drive and say the victim was on the 17th floor.
Boy Choked
Toronto police are investigating the sudden death of a five-year-old boy in North York Sunday night.
All they’ll say is that it happened at a family gathering.
