Man Arrested For Allegedly Recruiting Teen To Work As Prostitute

A Brampton man is facing a long list of disturbing charges after he allegedly sent a 16-year-old girl out on the streets to work as a prostitute and authorities fear there may be other victims out there.

The 21-year-old was arrested Friday following a joint investigation with the Toronto Police Special Victims Unit and Peel Police’s Vice Unit.

Authorities claim the suspect lived off the money made by a 16-year-old girl he recruited to work as a prostitute. He allegedly provided the teen with a cell phone to keep tabs on her activities and told her how much to charge for various sex acts and where and when to work.

The accused pimp also made arrangements to have the girl stay in a Mississauga condominium, according to police.

Corey Clayton Greer is facing numerous charges, including procuring a person to become a prostitute, sexual exploitation and living off the avails of prostitution.

He was scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.

Investigators fear there may be other victims and are asking anyone with information to contact the Toronto Police Sex Crimes Unit at (416) 808-7468 or Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS.
