Cops Issue Picture Of Potential 2nd Suspect In Murder Of Environmental Philanthropist

He went into a garage to get his car after having lunch at a mid-town Toronto building. He never came out. The mystery of what happened to local philanthropist and environmental activist Glen Davis has been a mystery since he was killed in that parking lot at Eglinton and Mt. Pleasant Road on May 18th.

Police know the victim was ambushed by a killer who appeared to be lying in wait for him. But they don’t know the reason he was targeted or who pulled the trigger. All they have to go on is witness information and one key clue – video surveillance of the man seen leaving the structure not long after the shooting. ( See the new footage here.)

Also pictured on that video – new images of what they’re calling a second ‘person of interest’. They don’t know who he is, but hope you do. “At this point, this person’s role in the murder, if any, is undetermined,” explains Det. Peter Moreira. “He was seen in the company of the suspect on at least two occasions, about an hour before the murder was committed. There is no doubt in my mind that these people know each other. The fact that they are seen exiting the underground where the murder occurred is concerning.” (Both are pictured, top left.)

Cops had long wondered about how Davis’ killer was able to keep such a close watch on his prey, and a second man could explain how the 66-year-old was tracked down. If you know who either one of these men are, detectives need two things: names and phone calls. Supply one with the other by calling  (416) 808-7400.
