Jacksoul Singer Critical But Stable Following Car Crash

The lead singer of a Juno Award-winning band is in critical but stable condition after a car accident that occurred Friday evening.

Jacksoul front man Haydain Neale, a Hamilton native who lives in Toronto’s Beaches neighbourhood with his wife and daughter, was taken to hospital following the vicious crash, and doctors monitored his precarious condition for the duration of the weekend and continue to do so.

His spokeswoman is thanking fans for their concerns and support and an update is expected on the musician’s condition very soon. Details of his injuries were not released at the family’s request.

In the meantime, fans can leave messages for the 36-year-old singer at the band’s website.

Jacksoul won a Juno Award in 2007 for R&B Soul recording of the year for his album, mySOUL.
