Victoria Stafford Disappearance Featured On America’s Most Wanted

The case of a missing Ontario girl got a major U.S. boost on Saturday.

Victoria Stafford, 8, didn’t come home after school on April 5. She hasn’t been seen since and only two clues have been released to the public: a surveillance video that shows her walking with an unidentified woman, and a police sketch of that unknown woman.

The drawings have papered the small town of Woodstock and soon, they’ll be familiar to a much wider audience. America’s Most Wanted featured Victoria in the episode to air on April 25.

It has already been featured on the website and it was hoped that the segment would never make it to air. Instead, her parents prayed that Victoria would be home by then.

Sadly, that was not the case. Ontario Provincial Police have completed their search of local waterways and found no evidence related to the investigation. Police are still searching for clues at the Oxford County landfill.

Rogers Cable also stepped in to help in the search for Victoria by presenting a 30-minute special edition of GTA’s Most Wanted entirely dedicated to her disappearance. The program featured enhanced video imaging of the wanted woman. It aired on Thursday but if you missed it, it will be shown again on April 26th at 9pm on Rogers Cable 10.
