Canada-Wide Warrant Issued For Toronto Man Wanted In Mississauga Murder

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a Toronto man wanted in a Mississauga murder.

Andres David Buritica-Marin, 25, was shot to death on June 2.

Peel Region officers had been called to an apartment building on Shipp Drive just after 10pm that night. When they arrived, they found Buritica-Marin in a vehicle behind the complex.

Investigators believe it may have been a drug deal gone wrong.

Now, they’re looking for a man wanted for second-degree murder.

Kevin Johnson (pictured), 32, is considered armed and dangerous.

If you see him, don’t approach him yourself. Instead, call 911 immediately.

Four people have already been arrested in connection with Buritica-Marin’s death.

Collin Nathan Theodore Reid, 45, and Ryan “Turbo” Merrick Johnson, 41, have each been charged with Second Degree Murder.

Denton McKenzie, 49, has been charged with First Degree Murder.

McKenzie’s wife, Carolyn Alexander, 38, has been charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder.

If you can help, call Peel Police 905-453-2121 x 3205 or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).   You can also text PEEL and your tip to CRIMES (274637).
