One man is in hospital and another is in custody following an alleged stabbing at Woodbine Racetrack.
Police believe the violence – a fight between co-workers – began around 7:30am on Thursday.
It happened in the stable area. A 45-year-old was knifed at least twice and officers believe he was holding a pitchfork when he was attacked.
Security officers at the Woodbine Centre were able to collar the suspect just after the brutal assault.
The victim was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

Brampton Crash Sends One To Hospital
An 18-year-old is in serious condition at a Toronto hospital after an early-morning crash in Brampton.
The single-vehicle collision happened around 1:30am at Bramalea Road and Sandalwood Parkway.
The passenger in the car, a 17-year-old, was treated for minor injuries.
It’s not known if charges will be laid.
