Five Teenage Boys Arrested In Liberty Village Sex Assault

Five teenage boys have been arrested in connection with a sexual assault in Liberty Village.
The accused, who cannot be named, are just 14 and 15 years old.
The alleged incident took place near King and Dufferin streets around 3am on August 25.
A 23-year-old woman was coming home to her apartment after a night out, when six men allegedly approached her in the lobby, forced her into the stairwell, robbed her, and then sexually assaulted her.
“I find it very scary,” said one area resident. “I’m actually shocked that it did happen. I get off work late, so for me coming home at night, this is making me uneasy.”
Police credit extensive video surveillance in the apartment building with aiding them in making the arrests.
Four 14-year-olds and one 15-year-old were each charged with:
1) Gang Sexual Assault,
2) Robbery.
One suspect remains at large.
The investigation is ongoing.
