A minivan was destroyed during a fire in a Weston Road strip mall.
The white vehicle exploded in flames around 12:30am on Wednesday.
Emergency crews arrived at 2091 Weston Rd to find the minivan completely burnt.
Thankfully, there were no injuries.
An electrical flaw may have been to blame.
Police Probe Richmond Hill Sex Assault
Police in York Region are trying to track down a suspect after a woman was assaulted in Richmond Hill.
The victim told police she was waiting for the bus near Yonge Street and Gamble Road just before 7am Wednesday when a man approached and then grabbed her inappropriately.
The suspect then took off toward Yonge Street while the victim ran to a nearby house for help.
The man is described as:
- Black
- Short hair,
- About 20-years-old,
- 5’11” with a slim build,
- He was wearing a black jacket
