Two Arrests In Connection To Alleged Illegal Spa In Vaughan

York Regional Police have arrested a man and a woman they claim were running an illegal massage parlour in Vaughan.

Investigators had been keeping track of activities at Tiffany’s Spa at 435 Bowes Rd. since August. Authorities claim sex acts were being offered in exchange for cash.

Police executed a search warrant at the spa owner’s house and allegedly found a large amount of Canadian and American cash, expensive watches, a loaded gun, ammo and body armour. A search at the spa provided evidence of prostitution, authorities claim.

Antonio Caranci, 35, and Jessica Snow, 24, are facing a slew of charges including, keeping a common bawdy house, living off the avails of prostitution and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Caranci is being held in custody and will appear before a judge Thursday. Snow is slated to appear in court Dec. 9.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7817, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
