Thief Makes Off With Poppy Donation Box

Police are searching for yet another suspect who went after the money in a poppy donation box.
It happened around 2:40pm on Wednesday at a coffee shop near Kipling Avenue and Birmingham Street, just north of Lake Shore Boulevard West.
The bandit was caught on surveillance video stuffing the box into a plastic bag while the clerk was distracted.
The suspect is a middle-aged white man, about 5’5” to 5’8” with a thin build and unkempt, shoulder-length brown hair.
He was last seen wearing jeans, a black and blue windbreaker and a black baseball cap with white writing on the front.
