Discounted Fare If TTC Booths Run Out Of Tickets

Thanks to a shortage in transit tickets there’s a discount available to TTC riders, but only at collector booths.

If there are no tickets available at a collector booth, you’ll only have to put $2.25 in the box, instead of the standard $2.75 cash fare.

That discount doesn’t apply to bus or streetcar riders.

Your chances of getting the discounted rate may be slim, though, as the TTC says it’s supplied collector booths with tickets and will now focus on restocking private retailers.
