Police Searching For A Suspect After Man Shot In The Face

A 27-year-old man is expected to survive after he was shot in the face in the Junction early Tuesday morning.
The gunfire erupted around 12:30am at 111 Edwin Ave., near Dundas and Dupont Streets. The victim, who was reportedly shot between the eyes, was rushed to hospital and is expected to be OK following emergency surgery.
Investigators are still trying to determine exactly what happened and they cordoned off the area as they searched for clues and a suspect.
Witnesses and the victim are reportedly cooperating with police.
