YouTube Announces Top Videos Of 2009

British singing sensation Susan Boyle has topped YouTube’s list of the most-watched videos in 2009.

Boyle’s rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables on the show Britain’s Got Talent attracted more than 120 million views worldwide.

A video called “David After the Dentist” came in second, garnering more than 37 million views. It features a seven-year-old boy in the back seat of his dad’s car recovering from dental work, still feeling the effects of the drugs given to him at the dentist’s office. At one point little David asks “Is this real life?”

The third most popular YouTube video was “JK Wedding Entrance Dance”. More than 33 million people watched a choreographed dance for a bride, groom and wedding party to Chris Brown’s “Forever”.

A teenage vampire enticed millions of fans to the online video site. The trailer for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” ranked fourth with 31 million hits.

And commercials took the fifth spot. Three different spots for Evian featuring roller-skating babies racked up 27 million views.
