Woman Killed In Apparent Domestic Dispute In Midland

A woman is dead and a man has been airlifted to a Toronto hospital after what appears to be a deadly domestic dispute north of the city.
On Sunday, the 20-year-old woman was found in a house on Irwin Street in Midland with at least one gunshot wound to the head.
About 10 minutes later, a 20-year-old man was discovered on a nearby street with what are believed to be self-inflicted wounds. He’s in life-threatening condition.
Local police believe the victim and the wounded man were a couple at some point. They have asked for the OPP’s help in the investigation.
Midland is about a two-hour drive northwest of Toronto.
