Breakfast Television’s Dina Pugliese Hits New York Fashion Week

It wasn’t all fun and games when Breakfast Television’s Dina Pugliese hit up New York Fashion Week.

Sure, she got to meet Oscar de la Renta – but it was all for a good cause.

On April 13, de la Renta and Suzanne Rogers will be hosting a gala dinner in Toronto to benefit HealthyKids International (HKI).

Rogers’ husband Edward Rogers is the deputy chairman of Rogers Communications, which owns Citytv.

HKI is an initiative of the Hospital for Sick Children. The program hopes to address the global shortage of trained medical personel. HKI brings doctors from around the world to train in Toronto.

The gala will feature a cocktail party, a fashion show, a dinner, and finally, a live auction. The Children’s Aid Foundation and Casa del Nino, de la Renta’s school in the Dominican Republic, will also receive funds.
