Raptors Continue To Struggle

As the Toronto Raptors fight for their playoff lives, Saturday night’s 124-112 loss to the Golden State Warriors isn’t helping their cause.

“Time is ticking and it’s counting down, and if we keep playing the way we are right now, we’re going to be on the outside looking in. Guys need to step it up, period,” said the Raptors star player Chris Bosh, in a candid post-game interview.

The team gave up 41 points in the third quarter, an area of the game that has repeatedly plagued them with problems.

They have now lost four straight, eight of nine and have just a one-and-a-half game lead over Chicago for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

“We’re trying to make the playoffs, maybe get a fifth seed, but that’s like slipping every day. This isn’t playoff basketball,” said Bosh.

The Raptors next game is Sunday night in Portland.
