Sandra Bullock’s Husband Apologizes After Affair Allegations

The high of winning the most coveted prize in Hollywood has apparently coincided with the low of a relationship on the rocks for Sandra Bullock.

Bullock’s husband Jesse James issued a public apology after reports surfaced suggesting he had a year-long affair while she was shooting her Oscar-winning film, “The Blind Side.”

James told People Magazine:

“The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded…This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”

Bullock, who won the best actress Academy Award on March 7, announced this week she wouldn’t be attending the London premiere of “The Blind Side” after reports surfaced suggesting her husband had a year-long affair while she was shooting the film.

In a statement released by Warner Bros. UK, the 45-year-old performer announced she wouldn’t be attending the event for “unforeseen personal reasons.”

Bullock apologized for her cancelling the commitment and offered thanks to fans for their support of the movie.

Media reports this week claim Bullock’s 40-year-old husband, custom motorbike maker Jesse James, allegedly cheated on her with tattoo model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee.

She has reportedly moved out of the couple’s Los Angeles home.
