Baby Slings Recalled, 15,000 Canadians Could Be Affected

Nearly one million baby slings are being recalled worldwide and 15,000 of them were sold in Canada.

The Infantino “SlingRider”’ and “Wendy Bellissimo” models (pictured above) are being recalled after they were linked to the deaths of three infants.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the carriers pose a suffocation risk to newborns.

The manufacturer is offering another product in exchange for returning the affected slings, including a free replacement baby carrier, activity gym or shopping cart
