Woman Charged In Vaughan Shooting, Police Still Looking For Armed And Dangerous Man

Police have arrested a woman in connection with an alleged attempted murder but the suspected shooter is still at large.

York Regional Police have five people in custody following the March 14 shooting.

Nadia Colarusso, 28, turned herself in on Wednesday and has been charged with accessory after the fact. She was allegedly in contact with the outstanding suspect.

Four other men are also in custody.

Police believe that the victim, a 20-year-old man, became involved in a dispute over money. He tried to run away, but was shot. He was taken to hospital, treated and released.

Investigators are still looking for Leo Carbone, 22 (pictured) for attempted murder and weapons-related charges.

Carbone is urged to obtain legal counsel and surrender himself to police. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The other four accused are Giuseppe Ceniti, 18, Jacob Bright, 18, Donald Lackie, 22, and a 15-year-old young offender who cannot be identified. They have all been charged with attempted murder.
