Man Charged In Serious Crash on Trafalgar Road

Police have charged a 41-year-old Acton man in a serious crash last month that left a four-year-old girl in hospital.

On the morning of March 15th, a 28-year-old Milton woman was driving her Honda on Trafalgar Rd. when she had to pull over because of a mechanical problem.

The accused, Darryl Cary, drove his commercial van into the rear of the Honda, which was partially blocking the through lane.

A girl in the back seat of the Honda was transported to a Mississauga hospital and later airlifted to a Toronto hospital, where she is still recovering from her injuries. Both drivers were treated for their injuries and released.

Cary has been charged with careless driving.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 905-825-4747, ext. 2359 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
