‘Fan’ Convicted Of Assaulting Oasis Guitarist Sentenced To House Arrest

A man convicted of assaulting a British rock star at a Toronto music festival has been sentence to house arrest.

Daniel Sullivan, 48, pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm following the September 2008 attack on Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher,

Sullivan ran onstage and pushed Gallagher into the speakers. Gallagher broke three ribs and the band was forced to cancel five shows.

As part of his sentencing, Sullivan will be allowed to go to work but is prohibited from drinking alcohol.
