Street Beat - Apr. 21 - Serious Crash On Hwy 403, Man Charged In Sexual Assault

A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in Mississauga early Wednesday.

Authorities are still trying to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash that happened around 2am on the westbound Highway 403 off-ramp to Eglinton.

Emergency crews worked for about half an hour to free the 42-year-old driver and his 33-year-old passenger, who also suffered serious injuries.

This incident comes just one day after another serious accident on the same highway. A man, apparently in his 20s, was rushed to hospital Tuesday morning after his car hit a truck tire on the road and rolled.
