Heartbreak Continues For Victim Of Laptop Theft

It’s not the ending Teresa Solta was hoping for.

Her laptop that was stolen from Toronto’s Princess Margaret Hospital contained irreplaceable photos of her daughter Marisa, 17, who died of cancer in March.

Police recovered the computer Wednesday evening, but it had been wiped clean, void of the priceless images.

Police are planning on taking the laptop into a data expert Thursday to see if any of the information can be recovered.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Bradley Warford, 35 of Barrie.

Warford is wanted for:

  • Break-and-Enter to Commit
  • Breach of parole

He is described as:

  • White
  • 5’10’-6’
  • Short, spiky dark hair.

Solta, a Winnipeg native, is in town with her 89-year old father while he receives treatments for lung cancer. She had left the computer in his hospital room while they went to the lobby to watch hockey.

Police say they have gotten many tips from the public on this case.
