As the temperature rises, so do the number of car thefts.
In Canada, a car is stolen every three minutes.
And it seems many folks are making their vehicles very attractive to would-be thieves by leaving valuables like laptops, GPS systems or shopping bags in plain view.
Another bad habit many Canadians may be guilty of is leaving paperwork with personal information, like your address or credit card information, lying around the vehicle.
