StreetBeat – Jun. 10 – Photos Released Of Men Wanted In Construction Equipment Theft

Police have released surveillance video images of three suspects, months after expensive construction equipment was stolen from a rental company.

Officers say in mid-March, three men broke into a storage facility near Lawrence and Midland avenues and used a forklift there to load heavy construction equipment onto a tractor-trailer belonging to the company.

The men allegedly drove away with $117,000 worth of equipment. The emptied rig turned up in York Region not long after.

Police believe the men may be responsible for similar thefts in the GTA.

All three are described as white, aged 35 – 45.
