G20 Fence Will Be Gone By Wed., Crews Say

It’s been a source of anger and frustration for many Torontonians and it will be gone by Wednesday.
Crews started dismantling the G20 security fence Monday morning and continued the task Tuesday. Workers said the chain link and concrete barriers will be completely removed by Wednesday morning.
The much-maligned fence was part of the federal government’s $1 billion security effort for the G20 summit.
