Three Men Guilty Of Manslaughter In Pacific Mall Beating

Three men have been found guilty of manslaughter in a Pacific Mall beating that left one man dead.

Long “Owen” Sha, 19, was assaulted at MHQ Karaoke Box on May 30, 2007
and died in hospital on June 2.

Peijian (Steven) Shi, 21, Zi-Hang (Justin) Ma, 21, and Andrew Cantelon, 21, were found guilty on Sunday, after four days of deliberations.

Shi and Ma had been charged with first-degree murder, while Cantelon was charged with second-degree murder.  

Salman Qteifan and Rodney O’Brian Forde had already pleaded guilty to manslaughter but police are still looking for two more suspects in the three-year-old case.

First-degree murder warrants have been issued for Peng (Victor) Li, 27, of Markham, and a 20-year-old man who cannot be identified because he was 17 at the time,
