Police say an 18-month old child was pulled from a pool in the Greenwood area of Ajax, between Highway 7 and Taunton Rd, around 10am Sunday morning.

Emergency crews rushed the baby to Lakeridge Health Centre. The child was then transferred to the Hospital for Sick Children, where the youngster is still being treated.

Toronto man Bun Chang Tang apparently drowned at Wasaga Beach Saturday morning.

After an extensive underwater search, the 31-year-old was pulled from the water around 11:30am and brought to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Saturday afternoon, emergency crews were called after an 84-year old man went swimming in Lake Muskoka in Gravenhurst and never returned. After a search, George Herczeg was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was found in shallow water near a dock.
