Two Bodies Found In Separate Water-Related Incidents

The body of a 43-year-old kayaker who went missing more than a month ago has been found.

On June 18, Allan Swan left his parents’ home in Collingwood with plans to paddle to his cottage on Wasaga Beach. His kayak and paddle were found the next day, but it wasn’t until Sunday that people at the beach spotted his body.

An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.

And on Saturday afternoon, the body of a 44-year-old Gravenhurst man was pulled from a Manitoulin Island lake.

Nevin MacGregor went missing on Friday night after the boat he was in crashed with another on Lake Manitou. Two others involved in the collision swam to shore.
