Suspect Reportedly Treated In Hospital After Murder

Toronto police have more information about the minutes after a murder which was caught on surveillance video late last month.

The footage apparently shows 22-year-old Marko Pandurevic (pictured, above) waiting for nearly 20 minutes in the elevator of a building on St. Dennis Drive, near Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East. Shortly before noon, Pandurevic allegedly confronted resident Dimitry Savenkov, 25, on his way to his apartment, and stabbed him before fleeing to a stairwell.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly afterwards and Savenkov was transported to hospital, where he later died.

Detectives have now learned someone in a newer-model, black BMW SUV drove Pandurevic to North York General Hospital at about 12pm, and the suspect was treated for an injury to his left arm and released at about 2pm. There was one other person in the car, but officers believe neither the passenger, nor the driver knew about the murder.

Pandurevic was last seen walking northbound on Leslie Street towards Sheppard Avenue East. He is white, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 170 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue/white shorts and had a band aid on his left arm.

He is wanted for first-degree murder and is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach. Call 911 immediately. Anyone who harbours Pandurevic or helps him evade police will be charged.
