Photo Released Of Suspect Following Machete Attack In East End

Three people have suffered non-life-threatening injuries after an apparent machete attack in the east end.

Two ambulances carried victims away from the scene on Boultbee Avenue in the Gerrard and Jones area.  

An investigation is ongoing, but police believe the violence was sparked by a domestic dispute.

A suspect is still on the loose.

Update August 17:

Toronto Police released a photo of the suspect.

Officers allege that the man pictured above went to a home on Boultbee Avenue around 9:51pm on August 16.

He allegedly became involved in an argument with a 37-year-old woman, then stabbed her and another woman. A 19-year-old man tried to break up the fight and was also knifed.

The suspect fled the scene.

Roxroy Campbell, 34, is wanted for:

  • Threatening Death
  • two counts of Attempted Murder
  • two counts of Assault with weapon
  • two counts of Assault
  • two counts of Weapons Dangerous
  • two count of Fail to comply Recognizance

He is described as:

  • black
  • 5’4″
  • 145 lbs
  • black hair
  • brown eyes.
