Puppy Stolen Outside Vaughan Restaurant

A couple is concerned their diabetic puppy will not survive at the hands of thieves who took her last Friday.

Carla and Norris Mate live in Vaughan and dropped in to Dooley’s restaurant at Jane Street and Langstaff Road when the incident happened.

They left their dog Honey in their car, but when they returned, she was gone.

Video surveillance captured five men aged 18 to 30 who appeared to be carefully planning the crime and grabbing Honey from the vehicle.

The Mates are offering a $5,000 reward for the safe return of their beloved pet.

She is a Yorkie-Pomeranian cross weighing about two pounds with beige-coloured fur.
