Cops Taser Man Who Allegedly Threatened People With Makeshift Weapon

Police used a Taser to subdue a man who was reportedly threatening people with a makeshift weapon in the Kensington Market area Friday morning.
Officers used the stun gun around 8am after the suspect threatened people with a 2×4 with a nail in it. Other than the suspect who was Tasered, no injuries have been reported.
Police apprehended the man at Dundas and Kensington Avenue around 8:15am. The suspect was taken to hospital.
