Man Wanted For Attempted Murder In Mississauga Shooting

Peel Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted in a Mississauga shooting.

Officers were called to Dundas Street just east of Hurontario Street around 11:56pm on October 11. When emergency crews arrived, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Initially, police say, the victim fled the scene. He has since been treated and released from hospital.

Police are still looking for the suspect.

Nepaul McMorris, 22, is accused of attempted murder. Police are urging McMorris to contact a lawyer and turn himself in.

McMorris (pictured) is described as:

-black
-6”
-approx 155 lbs
-medium build
-brown eyes
-black hair
-visible pimples/pockmarks on his face.
