Canada-Wide Warrant Issued For Suspect In Holiday Inn Shooting

Police have obtained a country-wide arrest warrant for a 20-year-old Toronto man suspected of killing another man at a Mississauga hotel.
Around 9:30pm on Sunday night, officers responded to the Holiday Inn Express near Dixie Road and Highway 401 and found Donald Richard Grant collapsed with a gunshot wound.
The 27-year-old – an aspiring hip-hop artist – was taken to hospital, but later died.
Homicide detectives have now identified the suspect as Jerome Derby.
He is black, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 140 lbs., with a thin build, brown eyes and brown hair. He could be armed and should not be approached.
