Two men are dead after their plane crashed about 40 kilometres west of Barrie Friday afternoon.
They were the only ones on board the single-engine aircraft when it went down around 3pm in a field near Edenvale Aerodrome, a private airport off Highway 26 in Clearview Township.
There are reports one of the victims is a 47-year-old from the Toronto area and police are working to identify the second man.
Both the police and the Transportation Safety Agency of Canada are investigating.
