In anticipation of heavy rains, the City of Toronto has decided to delay road repairs that would have closed the Gardiner Expressway on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The updated closures are as follows:
• The eastbound lanes of the Gardiner Expressway will be closed from the Humber River to Spadina Avenue from Tuesday, November 23 at 11 p.m. to Wednesday, November 24 at 5 a.m. for the installation of temporary concrete barriers between Strachan Avenue and Fort York Boulevard.
• One westbound lane of the Gardiner Expressway will be closed from Fort York Boulevard to Strachan Avenue on Wednesday, November 24 from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. in order to paint lines on the concrete barriers.
