Police Release Photo Of Subway Sex Assault Suspect

Toronto Police have released a photo of a man wanted in two separate subway sex assaults.

The accused allegedly attacked two women on New Year’s Day.

Officers say the first attack happened around 2:20am. The suspect allegedly followed a woman as she left the St. Clair West subway station. He allegedly followed her for a short distance, then pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The woman struggled and the man fled the area.

The second alleged attack happened around 3am at Summerhill subway station. The suspect followed a woman as she left through the Shaftesbury Street exit. He allegedly pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as:

  • white
  • 35-45
  • short, dark hair.
