Street Beat – January 13 – Whitby Teen Seriously Injured In Crash

Durham Regional Police are investigating after a Whitby teen was seriously injured in a crash.
The two-vehicle collision happened on Anderson Street north of Conlin Road around 9:30am on January 12.
Officers allege an 18-year-old woman was behind the wheel of a Saturn when she lost control and crossed into the southbound lane, striking a southbound Dodge mini van.
She was then taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The two people in the van were not injured.
